Extension of "The Special Measures District to Prevent the Further
Spread of Infections" (February 10, 2022)
Gifu Prefecture's period of designation as a "special measures district to prevent the further spread of infections" has been extended until March 6, 2022.
At present, in addition to the spread of infection in medical institutions, welfare facilities, nursery facilities, and schools, there are also cases where the infection has spread to family members that share a living space or to family members who have been identified as close contacts, causing problems in various workplaces.
In order to protect yourself, your family, and society as a whole, we ask that all prefectural residents continue to take basic infection prevention measures thoroughly.
・Travel: Avoid non-urgent and unnecessary travel between prefectures as
much as possible.
・Eating and drinking: Avoid eating with people you don't normally meet, including at home, and avoid eating and drinking in large groups or for long periods of time.
In addition, the period of the Demand for the Shortening of Business Opening Hours and Suspension of the Serving of alcoholic beverages, etc. to Eating & Drinking Businesses will be extended accordingly.
