It has been decided to lift the Gifu Prefecture's designation as a "special measures district to prevent the further spread of infections" on March 21, 2022. |
The "Sixth Wave" of COVID-19, which spread at an unprecedented speed and scale, has also shown a definite, albeit gradual, downward trend.
However, there are still some issues and concerns, such as the number of new positive cases that still remains at a high level, as well as the upcoming "change of fiscal year," which caused a sharp increase in infections last year and the year before.
We kindly ask that all prefectural residents continue to stay vigilant and thoroughly implement infection prevention measures.
・Avoid eating with people you don't normally meet, including at home, and avoid eating and drinking in large groups or for long periods of time. ・Stay silent when eating, and wear masks when talking. ・Refrain from attending parties associated with Hanami(cherry blossom viewing) as much as possible. ・Implement infection prevention measures at Easter and other festivals. |
In addition, the "Demand for the Shortening of Business Opening Hours and Suspension of the Serving of Alcoholic Beverages" to "Eating and Drinking Businesses" will be lifted on March 21, 2022.
